Any feedback is welcomed as we promote and support practitioner growth, development, accountability and ethics. In this regard practitioner members must sign a skilled-helping code-of-ethics irrespective of whether they are counsellors, coaches, facilitators, mediators or other professional-, or practitioner skilled helpers.
My name is Wilna and I am a member of Signo Professional Association and have signed a SignoPro ethics code of conduct in the interest of my clients and my growth as a practitioner.
For me it is a privilege to put my Gift of Listening into action in Narrative Therapy and to let my client experience my non-judgemental approach. It is imperative for me to let them know that the problem is the problem. The problem is not their identity. They’ve got their own identity apart from their problem and that their feelings & emotions are important.
