In my career as an HR professional where an aspect of my portfolio involved coaching, I realised that many of the people I worked with, from junior management to company directors, often had unresolved issues which held them back from discovering their full potential. It was evident that we needed to revisit the past so that we could successfully claim the future. That is the reason that I became a Narrative Therapist as it positions me to walk with a client through their past stories with a view to helping them to unpack, examine and make sense of their experiences so that they may step confidently into the scripting of a new story unencumbered by the past.
I live in Centurion in a home co-inhabited by many rescue animals. I am also an active member within my faith community. In my spare time I attend art lessons which I thoroughly enjoy despite how challenging it may be.
